POINT SYSTEM
Lotting
Our lotting system is based on points. Each item is assigned a points value, and all those with the corresponding points may lot on the item. In the case where no one has the required number of points, the person with the closest points may lot the item. Members may go into minus points, but only up to a maximum of -100.
When lotting, items are called firstly for their full points value. If no one wishes to lot full, then it will be called at 1/2 points value. If there is still no interest, then the item goes to autodrop at random (not to be confused with freelot).
Sellable items
There are special rules for sellable items. Items which are not rare/ex must be lot for full points, and you must have 75% of the points needed in order to lot. If no one lotting has 75% or more, the item will be held by the linkshell until the 75% mark has been reached if their is significant interest, else the item will be sold for the ls bank. Crafting items obtained during events will be sold to fund the bank, and the ls bank is distributed out to members once it has reached a substantial level, with each member receiving a share based on the points accumulated up to that date.
Also, sellable items can only be obtained once by each member, to stop the issue of selling the items for gil on a constant basis.
Obtaining points
Points are obtained through attending linkshell events. Each event earns a member a number of points based on the average length of the events:
Sky/Sea/ZNM/Abyssea - 10 points
Limbus - 5 points
Dynamis - 10 points
Other events - various, dependent on length
To obtain full points you must be in attendance for the duration of the event. If you attend an event for at least 50% of the run, you will be awarded half the events points value.
Members can also obtain extra points by donating triggers/pops etc to the linkshell for use.
